Our History
The Sloan Story
In 1991, Ed Sloan started Sloan Forest Construction to serve local timber mills and help his four teenage sons earn money for college. With the collapse of the forestry industry, they began fencing remote properties.
In 1998, Sloan won the contract to secure Mountain Home AFB. In 2006, Sloan emerged as the go to national security provider via its innovative security perimeter work in the Missile Defense Program.
In 2018, Sloan designed and built two record breaking pop-up barrier systems for a Fortune 10 client. After 30 years of hard work, Sloan is the global leader in constructing the advanced security infrastructure needed for distinctive brands and institutions such as Facebook, DoD, DoS and others to accomplish their mission.
