Ben Kos is Promoted to Director of Field Operations at Sloan

Sloan Security Group names Ben Kos as its Director of Field Operations

Boise, Idaho - Sloan Security Group, a leading provider of complex crash-rated barrier solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ben Kos to the position of Director of Field Operations. Ben joined the Sloan team in 2011 and has played an instrumental part in the company's rapid growth over the past several years.

Ben started with Sloan as a superintendent working on his first project of constructing a border fence in El Paso, TX. Since joining the Sloan team, his leadership has been relied upon for countless high-profile and challenging projects, assembling a talented team of superintendents, foremen, and skilled laborers over the past 12 years as a Construction Manager with Sloan.

Ben has navigated the incredible challenges of working in many foreign countries, where a significant portion of the crew had limited proficiency in the English language. As Sloan has grown as a company, its project scopes have become more and more intricate and Ben has been able to guide Sloan's construction team throughout its recent growth.

Prior to his career with Sloan, Ben earned an associate's degree in engineering from Columbia Basin College and a bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Boise State University. Ben has also acquired numerous industry certifications during his tenure at Sloan, including the OSHA 30 certification, and Certified Gate Automation Designer (CGAD).

Ben has been committed to living Sloan's core values of professionalism, integrity, innovation, and safety. He has been and will continue to be a key asset to the Sloan team with devotion, knowledge, and commitment to quality.
